Share Your World With Cee Cee Pt. 14

I have been away for a few weeks. It is good to be back answering Cee’s insightful questions.

Here we go.

  1. You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you never met.  Would you attend this party if you were to go by yourself? Yes indeed I would go. I would probably feel self-conscious. I might even be a wall flower when I got there but nothing ventured nothing gained (and if I did end up just holding up a wall at least I wouldn’t have anyone there to be disappointed in me).
  2. If you were the original designer of one existing corporate logo, which one would you select? I would choose His Coffee because it combines two of my favorite things, Jesus and java!
  3. If you could be a student of any university in the world right now, where would you enroll?  Irregardless of which university assume they teach what you want to study.  I think I would like to study at Oxford in England.
  4. If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single public building or institution, which building would you choose? Woosh! This is hard. There are so many places I would love to go for a quiet weekend of concerted prayer. How about this place? Definitely an institution not sure how public….

    Monastery Agios Triada, Greece

  1. What a view! Since the picture of that monastery is fascinating, I decided to look it up. Here is little history.

Hermit monks may have lived here beginning in the 14th century, but the present monastery was built between 1458 and 1476.

Until the 20th century, monks, pilgrims and supplies reached the monastery only by means of rope-ladders and baskets. But in 1925, access to the rock was eased by the addition of rock-hewn stairs.

Agia Triada suffered greatly in World War II and the German occupation, during which virtually all its treasures were looted.

I guess the addition of the stairs was a mistake.

    • Yeah I am not sure how the current inhabitants would except me; But since the question asked if I was there alone I thought that little issue hardly mattered. Further the question of how I would get there was also not part of the equation. So I imagined I could just blink and be at the top! 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing, Pastor J

Interesting answers. The photo took my breath away! (I think I could live there, as long as I don’t know that’s where I am!! 🙂 )

    Blessings

    • We would have to coordinate weekends otherwise we wouldn’t fulfill the prerequisite of spending the week end there alone. What weekend are you going? 😉

  3. Is New Horizon Coffee a Christian group? I’ve never seen it out here.
Q3 If I was to be totally alone, I guess it wouldn’t matter where it was, but a few creature comforts would be good.
