The focal point of this photo is the Statue of Washington at the foot of the Philadelphia Art Museum. The park and city of Philly beyond are what make the photo intersting to me.
I love your picture. It reminds me of my second home–Philadelphia–where a large number of my family members have lived, and where many still live today! My parents lived in Wilkes-Barre, and my siblings still do. Wilkes-Barre is 1 hour 56 minutes from Philadelphia, by car (a little less time, depending on how fast one drives). I am so blessed to have been born and raised up in a state that is rich in so much of our early American history!
I am so glad the photo brought back good memories for you Rev. Nadine! I lived in Phoenixville PA for a few years. My son was born there. Now that he is in college down there I visit a few times a year.
Hi,
You have given me a smile. Great choice for “beyond”! This is my fav view in Philly and I heart this city very much. I am a granddaughter of Philadelphians and a good part of my family tree was born and lived there.
Have a great day.
And it’s perfect for the challenge!
Thanks Patti
Great photo, pastor J! Thanks for sharing it with us and God bless you!
🙂
It’s like looking beyond the clouds. Great things are beyond! A-men!
So true!
Great shot down to City Hall and Billy Penn! This is a view I’ve enjoyed many times in my life – thanks for the memories!
You are most welcome! Glad I could bring back good memories.
Love Philly! I remember seeing the statue and then the city skyline!
Beautiful photo 😉
Thank you very much.

Great photo.
“Beyond” brings many thoughts . . . happy thoughts of what lies ahead for the blood-bought, adopted children of the living God.
We are one day closer.
Amen sister Angela! I can;t wait until the ultimate dream lies before us fulfilled!
