The last quote reminds me of questions asked by John Ortberg in his book “If you want to walk on water you have to get out of the boat”. They are questions I often ask myself –
What am I doing that I couldn’t do apart from the power of God? – and –
Is there a challenge in my life right now that is large enough that I have no hope of doing it apart from God’s help?
These are good questions to ask Angela. I am asking them myself this day and praying into them during our morning prayer session.
