Pastor J, your “Changing Seasons” photo challenge makes me think of His spirit. When we first receive Him everything is so new and vibrant we are so happy and full of life. Then things calm down after a while. I’m sure everyone has season when the enemy tries to stir trouble up when the leaves (or onion peels as Pastor Risto would say) start to fall away but when we look to Him we are reminded to be still and know that He Is! As we move through the seasons of life sometimes we feel so cold and alone that our burdens become too heavy for us to bear that we feel like our branches are at their breaking point. Know that He will never forsake you so let His river flow like a roaring water fall through you. These photos really blessed me today thank you, Pastor J!
I love how you took these and wove them into a tapestry for us Deb!
They are all so pretty.
Thanks Connie and thanks too for stopping by!

Thanks Deb but have you seen some of the others? Makes me feel like a hack (which frankly I am but I am having fun hacking away) 🙂
All I can say is “WOW!!!”
I love butterflies … that’s the only reason number one is my fave. I agree with your other readers… Truly beautiful shots!

THanks Ann! How did the semester finish out?
You are most welcome 🙂
Today is officially my last day. Half of me wants to sleep, the other half says I should get up and go. The path of least resistance seems feasible but I shan’t give in 🙂
I am thankful to God for His faifthfulness. I only made it because of His love and grace.
Thanks for your prayers!
Blessings

Sounds like the pathway so many of our brothers and sisters are walking. Long and at times arduous, but worth it in the end! I shall keep you in prayer!
Simply beautiful………one of my favorite things about schooling in Canada was the opportunity to experience the marked change in seasons…….in the Bahamas we don’t have the same privilege; the changes are very slight.
I was talking the other day about moving to a warmer clime. It’s a yearly conversation we New Englanders engage in around this time of year. Truth be told though, we would all miss the changing of the seasons!
