Heaven Pt. 85

“If your people go out where you send them to fight their enemies, and if they
pray to the LORD by turning toward this city you have chosen and toward this
Temple I have built to honor your name, then hear their prayers from heaven and uphold their cause.” I Kings 8: 44-45

This world is not a tip toe through the tulips. It’s a mobilization through a battleground…a battleground we created when we invited sin and Satan in to play. But God has told us that if we let Him He will walk with us through the mine field. He will train our hands for war. He will give us the victory. He will uphold our cause.

What battle are you facing today that you need to ask God to walk with you through?

  1. My battle is against the sneaky little way-past resentments that still surface on occasion. Even today, I was amazed–and freely confess it here–that I was praying for God to “get them”, instead of remembering His grace. I’m not like this all the time–but in James it says that we must confess, and ask for prayer, that we may be healed. I claim full healing, by faith–and I’d really like to see the completed manifestation (sooner than later, since I’m still working on the patience thing too). Thanks, Pastor J–God bless you and the fam–love, sis Caddo

    • Thank you for being so transparent Sis! We all have our battles. Mine is with feeling like I never measure up in God’s sight or anybody else’s. This mindset has led me down some pretty dark and sinful roads in the past! I am so thankful that whatever our individual battles may be, God is big enough to help us through them all!

  2. “Ahhhhh”!! Pastor J. I had to look twice,I love the new look. I am also very thankful to God for walking with me,whew, forgiveness is a tough cookie! But there is nothing to hard for God and He is walking me through this.
    Love you šŸ˜€

    • It is true forgiveness is a hard cookie whether it is forgiving others for wrongs done against us or forgiving ourselves it is often hard to swallow. But with God all things are possible. I am forever grateful for the cross.
