then hear from heaven and judge between your servants—the accuser and the accused. Punish the guilty as they deserve. Acquit the innocent because of their innocence. I Kings 8:32 NLT
Accusation is one of Satan’s greatest tools. He condemns us when we are guilty and accuses us when we are innocent. In either case we as the people of God need to bring our guilt and our innocence to the cross and rely on Christ to justify us or vindicate us. It has never been man’s job to clear his name (as if we were ever capable). Jesus alone can judge and right the wrongs done to us or by us.
Have you ever been falsely accused?
A few or more times, Pastor J–but for every false accusation, there was at least one that rang true. It’s a heavy burden, carrying around all that guilt and other junk–until we finally get it, that Jesus Meant it, when He said He died FOR US, that we’re free. God bless you and the fam abundantly–love, sis Caddo
So true Sis! He not only vidicates the righteous He justifies the wicked and since there is none of us righteous to start with…. I’m so glad Jesus lifted me! 🙂
I just want to praise Him for taking my blame and shame. And, I want to clap for Sis Caddo’s comment! God bless you, Pastor J!
Amen Deb! Me too!
I was guilty but my gracious God declared me righteous, clothing me with the righteousness of Christ.
What an amazing God!
Amen Angela! And I am so glad HE has displayed His grace in my life!
