In the book of James we are told that the word of God is like a mirror reflecting back at us a true image of our own hearts. I love Scripture for its unwavering truthfulness about the grace of God, the depravity of man and the redemption that is possible when those two things collide.
Here is what I see in todays chapters:
Judges chapter 16 sermon topics/ titles:
1. Anointing does not Indicate God’s approval: Judges 16: 1-31
2. The Blindness of Codependence: Judges 16:1-31
3. A Sacrifice For Final Glory: Judges 16: 28-31
Judges chapter 17 sermon topics/ titles:
1. Gods Of Our Own Making: Judges 17:1-6
2. Pulling the Blessing Out Of the Curse: Judges 17:1-4
3. Thinking We Deserve It: Judges 17:7-13
Now tell me what you see. 🙂
I think I might be squiggling in my seat at some of these sermons! 🙂 Good though, they are all good!!! God bless you, Pastor J! Chart on!
Some of them might be real “barn- burners” !
“A Sacrifice For Final Glory” I really like this one but they are all so good. Here’s what I saw.
Judges 16
1. How deep is your love? Judges 16:4-22
2. Share the origin of your power. Judges 16:17
3. Never relinguish His power. Judges 16:28-30
Judges 17
1.There shall be no other. Judges 17:3
2. Where is God on your list? Judges 17:4-6
3. Have you welcomed your priest in? Judges 17:12
“Where Is God On Your List?” Now that would make for a very convicting sermon!
