Pastor Wrinkles: Chapter Charts Pt. 111

Deborah the Judge and Prophetess

I thought it necessary to bring back the chapter charts as a little breather from the “Hey Jude” posts. After all variety is the spice of life. So let’s give the study in Jude a few days to marinate and go back to practicing our charting skills shall we? Today’s chapters give us a glimpse into the life of Deborah, the original Xena Warrior Princess. Here is what I see in today’s chapters:

Judges Chapter 4 sermon topics/titles:

1. How Long Will It Take You To Need God? Judges 4: 1-3

2. The Sting of the Bee and the Crash of the Thunderbolt  Judges 4: 1-24

3. Releasing the Honor: Judges 4: 4-10

Judges chapter 5 sermon topics/ titles:

1. The Bee and the Thunderbolt Sing a Duet: Judges 5

2. When the Princes…When the People…Judges 5:2

3. You Who Ride On White Donkeys( A song to the leaders): Judges 5: 10

Now tell me what you see! 🙂

  1. “How Long Will It Take You To Need God?” and “The Bee and the Thunderbolt sing a duet”. I would like to hear that duet. Here’s what I saw in these chapters.
    Judges 4
    1. Lord have mercy on us, yet again. Judges 4:1-3
    2. At the hands of a woman. Judges 4:9
    3. Get ready, for Victory will be today. Judges 4:14
    Judges 5
    1. A Mother for Israel. Judges 5:7
    2. In His strength we can march on with courage. Judges 5;21
    3. You must rise in His power to have Victory. Judges 5:31

    • You can have as long as you need. The charts are meant to be a Bible study tool that helps you to look at Scripture in a new way by coming up with sermon titles or topics for each chapter. The goal is to squeeze three out of each chapter. I find it makes a good brainstorming excercise. 🙂 Have fun!
