Catching Up is fun. I get to answer eight questions this week instead of four. Here we go! Next round:
- What calms you down?
Prayer. I love to sit under the sound of soft worship music and commune with God! - Whats your favorite fantasy sandwich? Spaghetti sauce and peanut butter. It’s really good you have to try it!
- What was your nickname growing up either as a kid or now?
J is my nickname probably because my real name (Joseph Elon Lillie V) sounds really pretentious. My youth group has dubbed me simply Pastor Wrinkles. - If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Burnt Sienna. I just like the way it sounds. 🙂
Here are a few more Holland pics:
I will definitely have to try the spaghetti sauce and peanut butter sandwich. I can actually see how that would be good because I love a little spoonful of peanut butter in my tomato soup. Thanks for sharing your life with us Pastor J.
My pleasure. They always used to serve peanut butter sandwiches with the pizza for school lunch. That’s where the idea first came from
Not interested in the peanut butter and spaghetti sauce sandwich, thank you. However, I like your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure but you should try the sandwich….It’s actually very yummy!
Some more beautiful photos!!! Pastor Wrinkles….I’m going to have to remember that one!!
Yes indeed! Even now that I have retired from youth ministry I still have folks calling me that 🙂
You are way cool, Pastor J! Loved your answers again and the pics are amazing! My daughter eats hotdogs without buns dipped in peanut butter! 🙂
That sounds yummy. Peanut butter makes everything better! 🙂
Pastor J—love this post. love your blog and insights, too. i am giving you the reader appreciation award today. the post will be published in a couple of hours, but the link is right here. http://believeanyway.wordpress.com/2012/08/31/reader-appreciation-award-i-appreciate-you/
Thank you Kate! Like you I now have two awards to accept! I am a little behind.
You’re right that Burnt Sienna sounds wonderful–but it’s sorta brown, you know? God bless you! love, sis Caddo
Hmm Maybe I have to rethink that one then. Maybe Taupe. The color is kinda ugly but what a great name!
I think I can live the little time left to me without ever trying your recommendation for a sandwich, but thanks anyway.
Re #4. I would have to answer blue. You see, I agree with God. He used more blue than any other colour to paint our world, so it must be His favourite colour.
Love the pics.
Some scientists say that before the fall the sky was actually pink. I wonder about that…. to live in a land of lush red and pink horizons how relaxing. AS to the sandwich choice…peanut butter makes everything better!
