Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;” Deut. 30:11-15 KJV
What an amazing God we serve! He is not some far off God who hides His salvation or His desires behind the clouds. He has never locked Himself away in the Heavens keeping His wants and wishes a secret from us. He has been faithful throughout the ages to reveal His will to anyone who would seek Him for it. He spoke through prophets, through His written Word ( the Bible) and then finally through the revelation of His son Jesus Christ. The problem has never been that God does not speak it has always been that men did not want to hear what was said.
May we be hearers and doers of the Word today!
Let’s pray: God here I am. You know the questions I need answering today. I accept that you will always answer those who seek you. So I do. I will turn to Your Bible now Lord. I will open my spiritual ears to wait and listen for the answer you bring. God I dedicate myself to hearing Your answer even if it is something I do not wish to hear. In Jesus name A-men!
