Here are another great bunch of questions from Cee Cee!
- Are you left or right-handed?
I am totally right-handed! Even after thirty plus years of piano playing I can still only do rudimentary movements with my left hand. - What is one thing you love about being an adult? I didn’t start feeling like an adult until I was thirty-five. I sort of like the respect that comes with a little bit of age and experience.
- What do I need to unlearn? My fear of people and the idea that I am only as capable or adequate as other people see me. I am learning that what I can do has nothing to do with what other people expect from me.
- What is success for me? Fulfilling God’s purpose for my life and experiencing His joy over that obedience.
Here are a few pictures of the lighter side of our church!
This is me at youth convention a few years ago. I was cast in a skit in the dual role of Granny and Baby Boy!
We really enjoy helping people find the humor in life!
Thanks for sharing, Pastor J
(That picture always brings a huge grin to my face.)
I like your #4, especially the latter part….
Blessings,
ann
Thanks Ann! Pray with me “Oh Lord may I attain to this success!”
Love the photos. I personally don’t think anyone is an adult until the age of 35 or so….Give or take a few years!! Love your answers as always!
Thanks Cee! And I agree for me 35 was the cross over. A pretty painful year actually!
>> What is success for me? Fulfilling God’s purpose for my life.
AMEN! There is no greater privilege and no greater joy!
So true! So true dear friend!
Thank you for sharing, Pastor J. I want to learn with you, about what I can do having nothing to do with what people expect of me. 🙂 God bless you as you experience His joy today!
I am finding that the expectations of men cannot be allowed to dictate my direction (at least not always this does not preclude the healthy seeking out of godly counsel).
Pastor J–I really enjoyed reading your answers, especially number 3. I’ve always felt Less capable than everyone thought I was, so I’m generally terror-struck when anyone asks the least little thing of me. I’m definitely glad to hear you’re into humor–along with Amazing Grace, it’ll save your bacon more times than not. God bless you abundantly–you and your family have a nice weekend, hear? sis Caddo
We did have a nice weekend Sis Caddo! Thanks 🙂
