Life is full of change. This next month shall be veritably overflowing with it!
I said “Bu-bye” to my youngest last week as she embarked on her summer internship in Thailand. Soon I shall be posting updates on her perspective of the world from Chang Mai province.
A few days ago I said another “Ciao” to my son who is on his way to a ย summer internship in Myanmar! You sill be seeing lots of pictures from the Far East in the weeks to come.
My daughter Amanda has just started a new job in a nearby town and will be teaching children’s church here at Cornerstone with me ๐ (God knew I probably couldn’t handle all three out of country at once).
And then this month I have the awesome privilege of travelling to The Netherlands to visit my sister who is working as a missionary associate there!
So …yeah… lots of change which will bring lots of pictures. At least Cee Cee will be happy I can stop posting pictures of broken trees! ๐
Oh Wow, Pastor J . . .talk about change. You just got blasted! Praying with you for your precious ones and all that they are about to experience. Laughing at the broken tree comment . . .but I LIKE the broken tree pics! haha! God bless you and keep you during these amazing times ahead!
I actually got a few comments about the broken trees! I guess I will keep it up! ๐
I’m praying that their light is brighter than ever before and that God’s glory is known to all they encounter. Can’t wait to hear the testimonies they will have from this experience. Many blessings to you and your family. God is certainly doing mighty things through your entire family. A-men!!!
Take care of yourself…that’s a lot of change all at once!
It is indeed a lot of change Cee! It makes me a little tired just thinking about it. BTW I loved your answers from Sharing your world this week!
I LIKE broken tree pics!
Praying for you – and for them – as your loved ones depart, but I know that as you have given them to the Lord and as they are following His direction, you will ALL be blessed. I look forward to hearing of your adventures as you continue in His will.
We serve an amazing God!
Thanks Angela. Letting them go has been harder than I could ever have dreamed but it is also a most blessed thing to watch them fulfill God’s plan for their lives!
So true! What more could a father want for his children?
I am so proud of the way they are all seeking to follow the Lord!
God bless you Pastor J
( I am a HUGE fan of the broken branches. Stop ye not! I say unto thee ๐ )
Wow… Talk about taking on Mission fields.! God bless you and your family. Praying favour and open doors as your team influences the lives of others for His name’s sake.
Looking forward to the updates.
Will continue in prayer.
Blessings
ann
Thanks Ann! With so many people praying for them I know the harvest will be great!
Proverbs 22:6 comes to here, Pastor J! Congrats! ๐ I’m looking forward to the pics of your children’s travels! ๐ I’ll be praying for your children, as well. What a blessing!
Paulette
Thanks Paulette! I count it a great blessing and privilege that God has graced me with children faithful to the call.
