Heaven Pt. 56

“The LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.” Deut. 28:12 NLT

The Lord gave the people of Israel the land of Canaan as their “ministry-project.” He told them everything they needed in order to accomplish their work and be blessed He would provide out of His personal treasury.

God has given you a work to do as well…your own “ministry-project”. What is it? What  provision do you need to finish it? The things you need in order to accomplish that work and be blessed are in God’s treasure-house. As you go to your respective houses of worship today ask Him for the thing you have need of so that you may fulfill His will.

I would love to hear the testimonies of God’s provision!

  1. GOD IS GREAT!!! I have been out of work for the past year and God’s direction for me was to return to school. During this whole time God has and is providing my every need. I have to say I can’t make any sense of it on paper yet my needs are being met. Thank you, God for all the provision you have given me and all that is coming. A-men!!!

  2. In the last 53 years, God has met my every need. When I look back over the years, I find it difficult to believe that I did so many things. Of course, the answer is that *I* didn’t do them, but through the Lord’s enablement and provision, they were accomplished. My responses to His commands were almost always “I can’t do THAT!” and when I look at photos of achievements, I know it wasn’t *my* work. When I read old lesson materials, camp programs, etc and look at art work, I know *I* didn’t write them or create them. Somehow they just appeared on my computer, but they didn’t come from my mind!

We serve an amazing God who delights to give us the privilege of working through us, using us to His glory. He never ceases to amaze!

    • You are absolutely right Angela! We serve an incredible God who does beyond all we could ask or imagine. What He can do with a yielded heart is truly amazing!

  3. God bless you, Pastor J
I saw this after church today but I will ask Him tonight 🙂
The last two years of my life have been nothing short of a miracle. He has made financial breakthroughs for us as we dealt with the loss of a job and balancing home commitments. I, like Debby, cannot see how what’s on paper adds up to what the needs have been, but we continue to trust His divine providence.
I have a note on my computer desk that says “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it” I don’t know who the author is, but I am beginning to understand the truth contained therein.
God bless you and your beloved readers as He takes us to and through our circumstances.
    Grateful,
    ann
P.S. @ Angela “We serve an amazing God who delights to give us the privilege of working through us, using us to His glory. He never ceases to amaze!” Amen 🙂

    • I know that many of God’s saints are in exactly your position Ann! Yet in the midst God is giving us everything we need because He who calls is faithful to equip!

  4. I love the testimonies here! I too, left the work force to be home for my girls. When the oldest was ready for college, He helped her get a very generous scholarship to USC. All the rest we somehow were able to pay as we went along. There was no debt or loans incurred for this. I’m soooo beyond thankful. Only He can do things like this!
Praying and praising with Debby, Angela, and Ann! Thank you and God bless you, Pastor J!

  5. Amen Pastor J! God had knows our land and He is providing. Praying we confidently and boldly take possession knowing His will will be done. I join you all in Praising Him and march boldly into this land He has given me and trust in His provision. Blessings!
