So I am sharing my world again so that you can all discover a bit more about me. Here are this weeks questions.
- Do you play video/computer game? Which one(s) or most recent? I do not play video games. The most recent I played with any regularity was Frogger back when it first came out in the ’80’s…. Two left thumbs I’m afraid!
- When writing by hand do you prefer to use a pencil or pen? I prefer pen most definitely! I actually have an ink quill from Venice which I keep in my office for special occasions.
- What has surprised me about blogging? I think the relationships have surprised me most. I have come to care so deeply about the community here on-line and to care about what the community thinks. One of my blog friends disappeared for a month a while back and I found myself praying daily for that person. Here was a person I had never seen even a picture of and who lived half way across the world…yet I was being drawn into prayer daily for their well-being. I realize I may never meet most of this community on this side of the veil but I am really looking forward to finding the blogger’s cafe in Heaven and sitting down to a Cup’o Joe with: Meetingintheclouds, ToniRand, iftodaywehear, ofdustandkings and so many more!
- If you had a shelf for your three most special possessions (not including people or animals), what would you put on it? My Bible, my mortar and pestle, and my laptop. I could keep life going pretty well with those three things! 🙂
Here are this week’s pictures:
Moxie Day a Maine Holiday! Who among you has had a taste of the powerful drink? If not I dare you…make this the year of Moxie!
Camden ME Harbor
Thanks again Cee Cee for these great questions!
Nice pen! I usually use fountain pens, but I have a set of dip pen nibs on my desk – they slow me down and help me keep my bad handwriting under control.
I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I can’t read my own chicken scratch! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
It’s so much fun getting to know you and your world. Love the pics! And, wouldn’t it be fun to get everyone together NOW! 🙂 God bless you as He moves in your world today!
It would be fun to get together now! Imagine a great big bloggers convention! 🙂
Enjoyed your answers Pastor J. as usual! Great to know you more each week. I’m just curious about the mortar and pestle? 🙂
I am an avid gardener and I grow a whole garden herb garden. So at the end of the season I crush my herbs for tea and spices in my mortar and pestle
Oh okay, thanks for explaining Pastor J. 🙂
🙂
So fun to learn more about you, friend! If you get there before me, I’ll take a latte grande, and since it’s heaven, it doesn’t even have to be skinny. 😉
It will be waiting for you on my mansion veranda. I hope I get a veranda! 🙂
Oh I love your pen. It’s stunning! Your answers always warm my heart!!! Thanks for participating.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Thanks for sharing, Pastor J
Love the pen too! ( Looks really snazzy. Do you automatically write in Old English when you use it? lol 🙂 🙂 )
Blessings,
ann
Indeedeth! 🙂
Blogger’s Cafe in Heaven? Really? Well, if you say so, I’ll be there! I have no idea what a Cup’o Joe is, but if it is there, it will be perfect.
I have to agree with you on your reply to Q.3.
I find it amazing that it is possible to feel so close to people we have never met ‘in person’. I know what it is to feel the pain that some WordPress friends experience and I actually felt the love and concern for hubby and myself when he was having health problems. I guess being brothers and sisters in the Lord is a contributing factor.
We are a day closer!
