Here we are in week three for me (week 16 for some others) of sharing my world. This week’s questions are great!
- If you had a choice, which would be your preference: salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, hot tub, or desert? My definite favorite is salt water beaches. Not because I like salty water but because there is something powerful about the ocean. I love to watch the waves from under a beach umbrella! 🙂
- What book do you think everyone should read and why? Wow this is a long list but way up at the top far above all others is the Bible because it is the true revelation of God and His plan for redemption and the single authoritative rule for faith and conduct!
- What’s your favorite way to wake up and what’s the first thing you do? I like to wake up slowly. I love to push snooze for at least a half hour. Then I walk the dogs and pray and read the most important book which everyone should read (see question number 2 if you skipped it as soon as you saw the “B” word)
- What do you do to relax? I read a lot, I pray, I go to the movies, and I absolutely love getting my fingers into the earth and planting!
Here are this week’s photo offerings. French Rose
Ahh! Yes I am looking forward to my yard this summer!
Thanks for sharing, Pastor J
Nice Pics! Flowers are a sure sign that Spring is here. 🙂
I do support your position. Salt water beaches are simply the best 🙂 The beach umbrella does offer a ‘safe’ vantage point too. lol. My grandmother thought the saltwater held a cure for everything. Can’t help but wonder …
Looking forward to summer and lobsters in Maine!
Oo I am going to Maine this weekend. My brother-in-law lives near Camden. What part do you visit?
Hi Pastor J! Enjoyed your answers …Btw, thanks for the like and the visit.
My pleasure! Look forward to seeing your answers next week!
Thanks for joining in!!!
Thanks for having me along!
I have been wondering why you visit my blog since I fear I am a bit on the blasphemous side of life. But we have a shared love of flowers. Your French Rose is absolutely beautiful.
Actually I really enjoy your blog. The title was what first grabbed me. I like good titles! I confess I Don’t get to check in with you enough… so much to read so little time. As far as blasphemy goes, I have seen far worse ( I actually read a bartenders blog too shh don’t tell). Anyway, I don’t read for agreement I read for perspective. Most of my life is spent behind church doors working with church folk. While I wouldn’t trade that for the world (it’s what God has called me to) I like the market place of ideas. Blogs like yours help me to see things through slightly different glasses which from where I’m standing is pretty valuable. Thanks for writing even when I disagree! 🙂
