Apparently the prayer weekend put me farther behind than I realized. I have been desperately trying to catch up since to no avail. I am sorry this post is late again. Last night my writing time was kicked aside by a fund-raising dinner for my sister, who got her final approval for the mission field ! She has her plane ticket and leaves for Holland on Nov. 28th. 🙂 😉 😦 . As you can see I am a little conflicted about it all.
After dinner I had a meeting with the director of our church food pantry to finalize plans for our Thanksgiving Basket delivery program. Anyway finally this morning I have arrived to do my chapter charts. Maybe you have already come up with some ideas for Exodus 15 and 16 you wish to share!
Exodus chapter 15 sermon topics/titles:
1. The Lord is a warrior; Lord is his name! Ex. 15:3
2. The right hand of God Ex. 15: 6-12
3. The testing of bitter waters Ex.15: 22-27
Exodus chapter 16 sermon topics/titles:
1. What is it? Ex 16:1-14
2. Never Trusting Ex. 16: 14-21
3. The Lord has given you rest Ex 16:29
Now let’s hear your thoughts!
I really like “The Lord is a warrior; Lord is his name!” How thankful I am that He fights on my behalf.
Exodus 15
1. Praises unto Thee. 15:1-18
2. The bitter taste of freedom. 15:22-25
3. Will you obey His commands? 15:26
Exodus 16
1. Will they never be content? 16:3
2. Are you heaven fed? 16: 4-35
3. Faithfulness without fail. 16:35
OOOO the bitter taste of freedom is cool. Where you could go with that sermon!
You have so much going on, Pastor J. Praying for your sis as she leaves soon . . .and you as you miss her. God bless your chapter charting and all that you discover in His word.
It has been busy and a time of great change. My whole life has radically changed in the last three years. Nothing but my God has remained constant. I am so glad He is the same yesterday today and forever!
