Last night we continued our class in the book of Leviticus. With only twelve weeks to complete God’s First Five, we have to keep things going at a pretty good clip; But here in the chapter charts we can take some time to ruminate over what God is really saying; So as you read Exodus chapters 5 and 6, I hope you find some really deep revelation for your life.
Exodus chapter 5 sermon topics/titles:
1. Denial of God doesn’t make Him less God: Ex:5:2
2.The root of Persecution: Ex. 5: 1-14
3. “Lord why have you brought trouble?”: Ex. 5:22
Exodus chapter 6 sermon topics/titles:
1. “Now you will see”: Ex. 6:1
2. The deafness of discouragement: Ex. 6:1-12
3. Greatness in No Distinction: Ex. 6:13-27
Now you try! 🙂
Thank you for always encouraging us to find God in our daily lives and in His word. 🙂 All of these sound good. The root of persecution and the deafness of discouragement sound particularly good to me! God bless you, Pastor J!
Thanks Deb!
Pastor J, you really have made Leviticus interesting. Last night’s class was very good.
Exodus 5
1.Why should I listen to you? 5:2
2. The quota must be met. 5:10-14
3. You call this helping us. 5:15-23
Exodus 6
1. You have not gone unheard. 6: 5
2. Redemption will come. 6:6
3. You must tell him. 6:10, 29
You must tell him. That will be a good sermon! When are you starting in the writing?
It would have to be a God thing if I was to write. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.
Then I shall ask the Father about it. He and I talk frequently.
