The Power In Your Brick

“You are a ROYAL priesthood” I Peter 2:9

“He has made us his Kingdom and his priests who serve before God his Father. Give to him everlasting glory! He rules forever and ever! Amen!” Rev. 1:6

“And you have caused them to become God’s Kingdom and his priests. And they will reign* on the earth.” Rev. 5:10

As we “live the brick”. We have to come to terms with the fact that we are not the weaklings we once were. One of the boundaries or positions we now have as a brick in the temple of God is potency, royalty, authority.

If we are going to live as “living stones” we cannot allow ourselves to think we are weak. We are strong in the strength of the Lord!

The Christians of today are supposed to be the people who heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead and do even greater things than Jesus did. We are people who walk in the miracle continually or we should be.

This requires the baptism in the Holy Spirit, at least according to the Bible.

Jesus said, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you what he promised. Remember, I have told you about this before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit….But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me.”

It’s pretty simple in order to walk in the power that God intended us to we need the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The power in your brick is a person (the Holy Spirit) who dwells in you and overflows you with His presence. This baptism is supposed to be common to all Christians. It is God’s desire as He builds us all together into the temple.

Live the brick. Be filled with the Holy Spirit!
